JESSICA + ADAM :: ENGAGEMENT :: SOUTH WEST MINNESOTA

This post is far overdue, dating all the way back to May 14 (eek!), but I wanted to make sure I shared some photos from what has probably been my favorite engagement session since I started my company :) Jessica took a huge leap of faith by booking me without a face-to-face meeting as she lives and works in the Sioux Falls, SD area.

In the photography industry, there's got to be no greater compliment than being hired by a fellow wedding photographer and Jessica does stunning work for her own company, 283 Photography. Thanks so much for the incredible opportunity, Jessica and Adam -- can't WAIT for the wedding!

We started at my favorite coffee shop in my hometown, Dunn Bros. at the Smith Douglas More house.

Then we hiked down the highway and pulled over at an old barn and farmhouse that I have been dying to shoot at for a long time. Jessica and Adam wanted to match their vintage farm theme of their wedding, so it was a perfect location for what they wanted.

This is the interior of the abandoned farmhouse, with objects, furniture, wall paper, and even children's heights still marked on the wall as if it was left only days ago.

And then we went to a nearby forested area for a highly stylized picnic -- I LOVE when people incorporate locations and props that mean something to them and represent the relationship.

Can't wait to make more beautiful images with you Jessica and Adam!
